2025, May.
May was… challenging, to say the least.
As you know, we decided to mix feed our baby. Not gonna lie, it’s not so bad. If I’m honest, it’s more of a good thing than bad. Baby is well-fed, less pressure on my part, everybody’s happy. In fact, ito na yung pinaka-maraming collect ko in one pump since I started breastfeeding, since I am getting enough rest from all the pumping. Nakakaipon ako ng breastmilk dahil hindi ako stressed na kailangan ko maka-produce ng breastmilk..

On average, I can now produce at least 10 oz in one pumping session, enough for 2 feedings. I am really grateful.
Moms are really hard on themselves, I realized. Like how I always blame myself every time my baby cries because I always think (or assume) that it’s because he’s hungry and/or he’s not getting enough milk, even though I know that I feed him enough and on time. If anything, mixed feeding my baby made me kinder to myself.

Anyway, can you believe that my son is 2 months old now?? GRABE! This was our first ever family picture! He weighed 3.5 kg when I had him, and now, he’s 6.5 kg! Just when I thought he was not getting enough milk… Be kinder to yourself, Rainne.

To celebrate his second month, si Woody naman siya ngayon. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Me and my SuperMama – wouldn’t survive motherhood without her!
Also, this month, we got new dogs.

That’s Aphro (Aphrodite), the mother Great Dane. The brown one is Zoey, the Great Dane daughter. Of course, Cooper with the tongue out, the Labrador. Shobe, the other black female Labrador, Cooper’s girlfriend HAHA. Lulu of course the white Frenchie, the main character HAHA and somewhere in the background is Bacon, the brown Frenchie, Lulu’s boyfriend. HAHA Not in the picture are our aspins – Ragu, our most senior dog, And our ninja aspins, Macho and Spotty.. We also have dogs in Manila! Luca of course my first born daughter and greatest love. Then Suki the pug. The Black poodle family – Mama Callie, Chika, and Cola. And our 2 grandkids – Henry and Sunday.
Personal project ko for the coming days is to take their portraits, one by one.
