Privacy is Power

I often get questions as to why I cover my son’s face whenever I post photos of him/us online.

It’s something my husband and I agreed upon even before he was born – we will not expose him on the internet. As tempting as it may seem to show off his cuteness, I am more comfortable not doing so for his safety. In this time and age of AI, anything is possible! And anything can be used against you or your safety.

Also, being from the Filipino-Chinese community, we want to take extra caution when it comes to our son’s identity and privacy.

I am not against parents who post their child/children online. That doesn’t make them bad parents. I still believe that we have our own stands and principles we want to uphold as individuals and as parents.

But yeah. If you are wondering why I cover my son’s face, this is the reason.

Anyway, my son went from 6.5 kg to 8.4 kg from his last doctor’s appointment. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT FROM A 2-MONTH-OLD BABY??? Churuzzzzyyy 🤪😂
