2026 so far.

2026 so far.

It has been a while. I don’t know where to start anymore. Again. LOL.

We’re a little over halfway through the first month of 2026, and I would say that it’s been pretty… fair. I have my own fairshare of ups and downs already, mostly due to my mood (and hormones) but to be honest, it’s been a good January so far.

Hmm.. what should I update you on?

My son is now 9 months old (!!!!) and he’s been pretty advanced when it comes to all the physical milestones – he already has 7 teeth in total, he can now walk (with guidance), he eats pretty much everything we’re eating (no spices, of course), he’s been in and out of the mall almost every week, and… we’re travelling to two countries in 1 month.

As for me and my set goals – far from reaching any of them (and I only have 3 major goals to focus on, my goodness me). But that’s fine, no pressure.

For this year, I want to be intentional and more present. I, as much as possible, don’t want too many options. Because by now I know that I have decision paralysis. That’s also the reason why I am shying away from any design projects now. I can’t be a designer. I really can’t. I am a perfectionist when it comes to designing, and again, I experience decision paralysis – nothing will ever be good enough for me. And so I decided to stick to writing. Writing calms my nerves, and it gives me purpose. Nothing will ever make me happier than writing good literature.

Also, the shift to analog life is making noise this year, specifically, the traditional journaling. It makes me happy. If you know me, you know I am obsessed with journaling. I’ve always been a pen-and-notebook kind of memory keeper. So I am happy now that more people are also into it. It means I can get more inspiration for my spreads from all over the internet. HAHA. BUT, you’d know who’s just in for the trend. Can’t blame them, FOMO is real.

That’s all that’s happened in the first 20 days of 2026. I can’t promise to write more here because currently, I have 3 journals I update every single day. But I will try my best.
